In this post I want to tell you about the location where the fashion seminar, II Jornadas sobre Blogs de Moda, took place a couple of weeks ago, as I already posted in Part 1.
The Museum of Costume or Fashion Museum of Madrid, "Museo del Traje", is an excellent place for learning about fashion history, design, artistic movements, modern trends and research.
For me, along with its nice library, it's one of the most valuable resources, fashion wise, as a journalist, researcher, designer, and even simply as a fashion lover!
Of course, it has a vast collection of costumes (contemporary, popular and historical), but it also offers a detailed view on some important everyday life aspects related to it, such as jewelry, personal hygiene objects, houseware, illustrations, papers, entertainment, and even toys!
If you happen to have the chance to be in Madrid, I strongly recommend to pay it a visit! :-)

The building project won the National Prize of Architecture in the late 60's and it took advantage of its beautiful sorroundings and gardens. Since 2004 it serves as a Center for Ethnological Heritage Research, after almost a century and a long history in local costume preservation and anthropolical interest.

It's very easy to get carried away in the beauty of its gardens and fountains...
Definitely, I can't think of a better place for a fashion seminar than this magical site!
